Is there anyone out there who has had a problem with E-Bay after selling an Item, the buyer informs E-Bay that the Item is not as described. But as it turns out the buyer paid to much for the Item and contacted E-Bay saying this Item doesn"t match the description in the listing. So E-Bay returns the buyers money which is BULL**bleep** as far as I am concerned. And I the seller is screwed because I have no say as to what is going on.

It is a problem with ALL online sites, not just eBay.
The system is based on consumer protection: in case of dispute (goods not received or not as described) credit card issuers and/or payment processors (such as PayPal) will refund the buyer and chargeback the seller.
That problem will be exactly the same if you had your own website. A buyer claims the goods are not as described, the credit card processor you use would refund the buyer and debit (charge) your account accordingly.
There is no way around that if you sell online and accept credit card for payment.

That's the reason I left, EBay's preferential treatment towards buyers including the buyers ability to say whatever they want in feedback but nothing can be said by the seller about the buyer. I had one person send back a 500 dollar item because it supposedly arrived broken. As it turned out it was not the one I sent and he had sent me his broken one and kept the good item I sent. Also for years I dealt with people with no problems whatsoever accepting their cheques. Then when PayPal was forced on sellers that was the end of the end. I remember the good old days when it was enjoyable selling and yes there were disreputable sellers but for a company to treat everyone as if they are disreputable is just not right.

Believing buyers is based on the old adage, the customer is always right.

That is how eBay works.
Read through the message boards and you will find thousands upon thousands of sellers who have had this happen to them. And all of us are fools for continuing to be sellers here, myself included.
There is nothing you can do about it except not use eBay.
