Why have sellers been given the wrong address on two different purchases?

Your seller is given the address you have input. Your eBay and Paypal addresses should match, but this is not automatic. You have to do it manually.

Paypal may have a dozen 'gift' addresses for items the member may use occasionally. There have been reports of out of date addresses being used instead of current ones.

Sellers are required to use the Paypal address to retain their Seller Protections.

Is the wrong address one that you used in the past? Look in your Paypal account and delete any no longer used addresses.

Is the wrong address a transcription error/ typo? Correct it.

Is the wrong address completely and utterly wrong? You may have been the target of identity theft. Check your Purchases list for items that you did not buy. Also your Paypal account (which is pretty darn secure, but check anyway)

If you had a parcel delivered to the incorrect address, why not knock on the door and ask for your parcel?
