Why is eBay calculating wrong shipping amount?

I just had a number of auctions complete and the shipping amount to anyone outside of NA is off by 7-$10.  This is a large amount and since people bid on the item beleiving the quoted shipping amount was correct, I can't really go back and get them to pay more.  Bad for me because of the 10 items that sold, 7 were international.

Here are the details:

Item is about 350g shipping to France using CP Small Packet Air.  The quoted price is for 249g and below.

Am I doing something wrong?  Bug in the system?

Are you sure that you measured the package dimensions correctly, using metric measurements?

Yes, I'm putting in the right measurements.  Besides, on small packet air, the size doesn't factor into the price.

Go back and look at the listing form. You can do this by clicking on Sell Similar which will show you the original form. Scroll down to Edit, which will show you Page One and scroll down to see what you actually entered.

I suspect a typo on your part entering 249 instead of 349 grams.

I have found that if you enter Free Shipping in the Canadian shipping section, that you have to pay close attention to your next several listings, because Free Shipping is sticky and has to be removed every time until your next session of listing. That one cost me $18 on a shipment to SK.
