Why is it, that there is an end to a bidding on an item, when the end time shown in this case is 7 P

I was bidding on several items with the bidding time ending at 7 PM PST. I am in the MST time zone and right now the here is only 6 PM, how come the bidding has already ended and now shown in EST time. I am really **bleep** off, since I have been watching those licence plates for sale for the last couple of days. Whats wrong here?

Nibble bidding is not usually a particularly successful tactic.

Bid once, bid your maximum.

Because eBay uses 'proxy bidding' no one will see your maximum bid.  If the current bid is $5 and your maximum is $100, then you would be the new high bidder at $6.

Everyone else will be chasing you.

Meanwhile, you can walk the cat, cook a Boeuf Wellington, have a nice bubble bath, and bake cookies for the Brownie pack., instead of being hunched over a hot computer, swearing and sweating.

Unless you like that sort of thing, of course.Cat Very Happy

It doesn't matter which time zone you're in because each auction shows you how much time is left on the auction.

Non payers should get unpaid item strikes and be added to block bidders lists. Period.
