I had a listing violation for trying to sell a full 30 year old bottle of beer as a collectible. It is obviously not fit for consumption, as was clearly stated in my listing..
Here are the listing removed:
321259338637 - Hamilton's Own Hamilton Mountain Beer Full Stubby Beer Bottle
After my listing was removed I found these others selling the exact same thing, full old bottles of beer. Can someone tell me why these are allowed and not mine? I have sold full beer bottles in the past, more than 20 of them. According to the policy these listings are also a violation, yet mine was yanked and these remain? I don't get it. Just wondering.

Sometimes an item that is in violation of a policy remains only because it has not been reported yet. Your item was reported. The second item you mentioned above has been removed so apparently that was reported as well.
According to the liquor policy, there are pre approved sellers so maybe some of the sellers you have seen are pre approved thus are allowed to sell liquor.

If you feel a listing is violating the same policy your item was removed for, feel free to report it by using the Report Item link within each listing.
Non payers should get unpaid item strikes and be added to block bidders lists. Period.
