Why was I charged an NSF to my bank?

I recently looked at my bank account online and noticed it had a balance of (7.27$) CDN which is negative. Upon looking into it, it shows me I got a 5.00$ NSF charge from paypal for not having sufficient funds to pay my seller fees to eBay. I actually did have enough money, however I was 10 cents short with my paypal balance so they would've had to take that from my bank account, but it seems like it rejected my paypal balance after realizing that 10 cents wasn't there, and went to my bank and then charged me with the NSF. I do not get money until the 9th of April, so until then I cannot make the payment unless eBay/PayPal takes from my paypal balance and bank account balance, and hopefully reverses the NSF. I'm not at fault, or at least I don't think I am. I have 100% feedback and I'm a very trusted seller and buyer on eBay. I'd appreciate the help a lot please.

Thanks!

I'm afraid of getting charged extra NSF on top each day I don't pay them also.
