Will a Samsung gear s purchased in the U.S. work in Canada?

I'm looking at the gear s and I'm not sure if an American one will work with my Canadian phone. Also as a stand alone will I be able to hook it up?

If you buy it on eBay, Samsung will not stand behind their warranty.

If you are not sure, buy it locally.

Sometimes a low price is still too high.
