Will migration tool preserve sales history ?

Sorry, was not following the board, and cannot find answer to my question here.

I tried the tool, but in both migration paths it creates new items, that means start from scratch on Google. If we were promoting our items on other sites, all links and people's bookmarks go poof. Bummer! I expected the tool just change currency in existing items.

Secondly, there is also Ebay search standing, which is dependent on sales history. Since migration tool creates new items, will it actually preserve sales history and search standing somehow ?

If not, and we have to start from new, what is the point of migration tool vs. relisting from TurboLister or another tool we normally use ?

What happens to items that are not migrated by tomorrow ? Will they be just ended or forcefully migrated ?

Thanks

If your listings are GTC they are OK until early August.

Re: Will migration tool preserve sales history ?

I'm not certain about sales history..my guess would be that it doesn't preserve it.

If your listing is not gtc, it will not get forcefully migrated but once it ends, it won't renew if it is on .ca in $US

Thanks guys.

If they allow renewing couple times until early August, that's pretty decent of Ebay.

"If they allow renewing couple times until early August,"

Only if your listings are GTC.  Otherwise you are out of luck.

Of course, that is the only type I use.
