While BC and Quebec show it as a separate entity Wynne will bury it to the tune of about $5 when it comes into effect Jan/17. Just some more of Wynne's transparency, one dime at a time on your energy bills. This one designed to force you to use less natural gas to heat your home thereby reducing your carbon footprint. At this time natural gas prices are at an all time low so you shouldn't mind the extra cost. But will they stay that way?

Forgot to add that Wynne's cap and trade will also increase the price of gasoline by 4.3 cents per litre. In addition Justin's Canada wide carbon tax has yet to be abbounced.

From the July article:
The Ontario Energy Board has decided charges related to the cost of the program, which is aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, will be included in the 'delivery' line charge on natural gas bills.
The board admits utilities and industrial natural gas users argued for a separate line item to provide greater transparency to customers about the cost of cap-and-trade, but it says consumer groups said that wasn't necessary.
The opposition accuses the government of trying to "bury the evidence" that cap-and-trade is another "cash grab," and says it's "apparent" that the energy board is more concerned about protecting the Liberals than consumers.
