sold one brand new software with activation code 1 month ago. buyer told me everything was fine.
2 week after, he opened caes on paypal claiming software is not working well. i offered help, buyer refused, just wanted his money back.
i called paypal, telling them the buyer already activated the software, the CD itself now is worthless. paypal closed case in my favor.
today, buyer appealed the case with paypal. now the case is under review. what should i do ? any suggestion?
thanks!

Not much. Tell Paypal that the item has been used and is now substantially changed by the use of the activation code. Repeat that you offered technical support and that it was refused.
Then it is up to the clerk.

Actually, what you should do is call PP and talk with an agent and simply go over the history with them and make sure to point out that the buyer initially reported that the item was fine and then two weeks later opened a claim - which was closed by another agent in your favor.
This is a common occurance when a buyer is trying to get something for nothing - they keep filing claims hoping that the seller will give up and just refund.
Most likely if this buyer used a credit card to pay you will see another case opening up for UAT = UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTION but this claim will come directly from the credit card company and paypal has no choice but to give back the money - then you will have to file with PP under their SELLER PROTECTION POLICY which will takes some time.
Hopefully you will not have to go through this mess.
Good Lukc

You can't name the sketchey buyer of course, but you can post the transaction number. That can help other sellers identify the problem buyer and take action.
