ok a buyer bids on an item and realizes she dont want the item ,she asked me to cancel the sale and i told her that she has to put in a request for that and i would agree,if i cancell the sale ebay gives me bad marks, got a .5 from ebay allredy cause some one wouldnt pay the difference in shipping to germany when the buyer had a us paypal acount ,got .5 percent fer that one lol amazing,so the seller has to put in a request am i right????

Go to the sold item and click on the item you want to cancel the sale for.  To the right, you will see "more actions", click on that and select "solve a problem". That will guide you to canceling the transaction The buyer will receive a message to accept the cancellation. If they don't accept it within a few days, you will be able to close it yourself and receive final value fee credit. I usually message the buyer letting them know they need to accept the cancellation form you send them so it'll be a quicker process.

The buyer cannot start the Mutual Cancellation process.

Only you the seller can do that.

 

If the buyer agrees to your request, the transaction ends immediately.

If she ignores it, the request closes the transaction in seven days. Which is a pain, but it is ended.
