eBay Express

I have been reading about the spring launch of eBay Express where only fixed price listings and eBay store items will be sold. It sounds great, but one of the requirements is that you be a US-registered seller. I sell on eBay.com but I registered on the Canadian site, so I guess this counts me out. Anyone else in the same position? Can you change your registration?

This new EBAY Express will hurt other canadian sellers selling to US residents. I don't think its such a good idea on Ebay's part.

Yes, I'm in the same boat you are in. I sell in the US to, and would like to participate in ebay EXPRESS, but it looks like we won't be included 😞 Apparently, they are saying that if its successful that they will or might expand to Canada, but I guess that means we'll have to wait it our for now 🙂

They will test it on .com and if sucessfull, Canada will be next on eBays agenda.

Seller must be US resident/US-based seller (depending where you read the Announcement, must sell at fixed price and store items, accept UNCONFIRMED addresses, paid WITH PAYPAl, items must be WITHIN the US and SHIPPED TO A US address.

I don't like the idea of sending to unconfirmed addresses and having to use PAYPAL. I don't think this is going to work.
