eBay Fails to Record Sales While PayPal Collects Buyers' Money

An eBay glitch is leading to duplicate sales of the same item in some cases. eBay is failing to record some sales, leading to situations in which PayPal collects buyers' money, but sellers don't receive notice of a sale - in some cases leading to the same item being sold more than once. Multiple reports are coming in showing permutations in the eBay-PayPal glitch.

That happened to me yesterday. Took over 12 hours for eBay to record the sale after Paypal notified me of payment.

This may be related -- all day yesterday a seller from whom I purchased an item (in the US) was able to message me, but none of my return messages were getting through to him.  He must have concluded I was ignoring him.  

These are serious problems.  Hopefully someone will be dealing with these issues -- quickly.
