Hello
sold a model soldier to a guy in England in January
the sale price and ostage was $16.99 USD
Package never arrived. The purchaser should have had the package a month ago. I sent it by airmail
I have refunded the $16.99.Insurance at a reasonable cost was not available.
do I as a seller have any coverage from ebay. I do not have the cash and the model I sold is lost in space
thanks

Hi Randall.. Sorry no. Insuring is for your protection and at your cost. Not purchasing means you assuming the risk.

Phone Canada Post on Monday and ask about the Small Packet insurance that may still have been included in the cost of postage.
I don't remember the date of the changeover , and because the parcel was actually delivered your chances are slim.
You could also politely ask the customer to refund the purchase price of the item, on the basis that he now has the item.
If you don't ask, no one can say yes.
