i bought it a week and a half ago. The email says that i should work on getting my money back because its no longer available but like a said the item said it was shipped so should i give it a few more days and if it doesn't come then try and get my money back ?

Hi bryanfrancis.. It sounds like eBay has removed your listing from the site for a policy violation or has suspended the seller. Check his ID. if suspended will show " no longer a registered user". Item will not be in your myebay purchase history.
It may very well be that seller has shipped your item and it will arrive.
If it does not..here is your payment protection..

Open a dispute in the resolution center of your PayPal account no later than day 43 from date of payment. Escalate to a claim and PP will refund payment.
Perhaps give a reasonable amount of time to see if it arrives.

PS.. can communicate with seller by clicking on "details" of payment in your PP history/activity. Seller's email address is there.
Regardless of what seller may say , file that claim by day 43 if hasn't arrived and never close a claim for any reason other than item's arrival.
