First thing on the Sellers checklist for September....
LINK

Make sure all PowerSeller icons and references are removed from your listing descriptions, listing templates, About Me pages, My World pages, and Store pages.

The way that I understand it is that the powerseller program is still on but because .com sellers don't have powerseller icons on their listings anymore, only Top Seller icons show.So now they don't want .ca to have powerseller icons either..although we don't get the Top Seller icon.

Yes, we are supposed to have been given until Sept. to remove the icons from our listings, but these boneheads at eBay have already gone ahead and removed it on us, so all of our listings now show a blank blue box.
They can't even stick to their own schedule...nothing surprises me anymore with this company. X-(

Thank you Judy. As you can tell I spend far less time online. LOL Hubby is working out West this week though and I'm bored.
Ahh it was a major relief when I found out what was wrong with me. Still in remission (sounds so bad and I hate the term) I have a few little set backs but bounce back in less then a week. Working my flower gardens seems to ease many of the symptoms of my MS. Hubby also bought a hot tub and boy does that help with the aches and pains. I would never have dreamed MS would be so painful!.
When my Mom passed away in '03 I re-evaluated just how much time I wanted to spend on Ebay. Even though I canceled listings, and many buyers were understanding I still had a few that were nasty. Geez. Dealing with one buyer now. Not letting it stress me out but he is really really ticking me off. I escalated his claim though. Had enough of his garbage. Nothing like getting a negative without an email though. And I told him the proper thing to do would have been to send me an email, not post a negative and file a claim. LOL Only on Ebay

Have you heard about or looked into CCSVI (Chronic Cerebrospinal Venous Insufficiency)?

My niece managed to get an appointment for an assessment in Barrie, Ontario in February, 2011. We are keeping our fingers crossed for her.

Oh i heard all about it. Do I believe in it...sorry no. I know many ppls want to believe in it but I will wait until there are further REAL studies done. The one in Italy was a joke, a whooping 63 patients and a lot of media hype. I'm sorry to say W5 should have gotten their facts straight and told the truth the whole truth. The MS Clinic in Winnipeg has been doing a great deal of damage control due to it. If damage control is the correct term. The study in Buffalo is finding many people without MS have the narrowed veins. PLUS there are people that flock outside of Canada to have the veins opened that have died. Sorry I take my minor disabilities over death any day!!! I personally believe people want there to be a cure so badly they believe anything they hear. Why else do people feel instantly better after having the procedure and others say it takes weeks. IF the doctor in Italy is correct and its and iron build up in the brain it WILL take awhile to correct itself. Oh yes he also refuses to release any of his findings...hmm has one thinking there.

It has disappeared on dotcom.

I had some as gifs on some very old listings from the last time I made PS, and they were not ever removed, nor did eBay ever ask me to remove them.

I won't worry until eBay tells me to do something or until I am rewriting and updating a listing.

Nor do I

Hi Everyone,

In the spirit of hijacking this thread and turning it into a social gathering....I wanted to share that over the past 3 weeks I've been off to figure skating camp for 5 hours each day with our three daughters. Our youngest daughter, Emi, who turned 8 in March is in a higher level of figure skating than our twins, Kaitlyn & MacKenzie who turned 13 in June. Emi is starting her 3rd year of skating and our twins will be starting their 2nd. All are doing amazing on the ice.

However...I wanted to share that Emi mastered her final single jumps...the Lutz and Axel and now is working on her doubles! This 42 pound shrimp...yes...kind of on the little side for an 8 year old just flies through the air! She is such a pleasure to watch on the ice. One would think she was born with ice skates on!

Just wanted to share as I'm one proud mom!

Hope you enjoyed reading militaryandthings!

And, I wish everyone a great week on eBay!

Hi everyone,

It's nice to see everyone together in this social gathering. I'm glad to hear Emi is doing so well Susan!

I would just like to share that my son took his stepdaughter to meet Justin Bieber this week. He was staying with his grandparents who live about 3 houses away from my son, Tim. Tim knew Justin's mother through the youth group in our church a few years ago. His memories of Justin are bouncing him on his knee while hanging out with friends at Justin's mother's apartment.

It didn't take Justin long to develop an attitude apparently as he tongue-lashed my son for having the nerve to knock on his door and ask for his autograph. I hope he ate his words when his grandmother, with whom my son had a chat, told him afterward that Tim & Patti are old friends.

At least he did give our granddaughter the autograph and talked to her for a few minutes.

Now, what were we talking about again?;-)

Hi PJ and Western!

Emi's comments on Justin.....He needs to get his hair out of his face! However, she does think that he is one talented singer!

Glad to hear that your granddaughter DID get her autograph. She would have been crushed otherwise and HE would have lost a fan!

Tomorrow is the last day of summer figure skating camp. And, it's also test day which translates into ONE LONG DAY!

Emi skates with some pretty talented skaters and is learning from the best. Between her being on the ice and our twins....that's my eBay stress reliever.....better than Calgon!

Have a good one!

LOL @ the Bieb!!

What a little twit. He needs a smack on his bottom the arrogant little.....Hopefully his gramma thwatted him one or two for it.

He needs a haircut and he sings like a girl. Just because someone can tweak a few knobs in the recording studio doesn't make him a good singer. Blech! The things passing as talent these days. *shudder*

Beautiful little girls you have there Susan. I wish I could skate. It is so graceful.

About 10 years ago my sister and her family were living just outside of Calgary. Jackie Chan rented the house beside them (2 or 3 acre lots so not too close) while he was filming a movie. My niece & nephew knocked on his door and were treated very well by his staff. Although they didn't get to meet him personally he sent a staff member to their house to give them autographed pictures and a couple of free DVD's.

We went to B.C. for our vacation this year and hired a local driver to take us to the Toronto airport. He regularly drives actors from the Stratford Shakespeare Festival back & forth to TO. He has driven people like Christopher Plummer who is among the cast this year. John, the driver, said that the most humble down to earth riders are the ones who are the most famous. They aren't trying to impress anyone as are the younger up and coming stars.

Chalk it up to maturity. Justin hasn't learned humility yet nor the fact that his fans are the ones who made him famous.

I almost barfed, though, when I looked up a local business's website last night. On the home page it read "Welcome to Stratford, Home of Justin Bieber". William Hutt was a prominent member of the Festival cast for over 40 years but I didn't see his name mentioned or the Festival Theatre.

Certainly there's the lack of maturity but I also think it has to to with being a victim of believing one's own press.

I'd complain to that store. Not likely they'd care but I'd still do it to make my feelings known.

I hadn't thought of that but you are probably right. I do wish him every success but really hope that he can handle it and not end up like so many others.....
