You're not as "self-explanatory" as you might think, - your post is actually a bit cryptic, really.  Do you mean you and another ebay member were exchanging emails and you believe parts were deleted?

Some things are deleted automatically, like personal email addresses.  There may be other keywords which get deleted automatically, although given the number of complaints about member rudeness, it would seem unlikely.  What, exactly, makes you think someone was "tampering" with your communication?

You could always call the folks at ebay's Customer Service (top right of page) and see if they can offer any enlightenment.

It is unwise to suppose that ebay messages are ever truly your own.  If you want absolute privacy and freedom of expression, you may want to go to private email for that.
