i believe 3 days is long enough for an item to be posted as shipped, I am going to message the seller today and find out whats up.

So you purchased a $4 item on Wednesday night from a seller in BC.

Presumably, you paid immediately.

The seller could have mailed your item on Thursday or Friday, most likely by lettermail since he charged less than $2 for shipping.  As you know Canada Post does not run on weekends even if some local franchised locations are open.

Since eBay/PayPal do NOT provide postage label for lettermail, the system is not integrated to let you know when the seller shipped.

Patience.

PS - the listing states : "Will usually ship within 3 business days of receiving cleared payment."

Three business days would be Monday, January 27th.

It probably is in the mailstream, but there may be other reasons for not mailing within 24 hours.

The seller may not be in a town or city. One seller here has to drive to the nearest postal outlet in another Northern town.

Some sellers are handicapped and must depend on others to post their items.

The item may require special packaging. The seller may have run out of packing materials (although she should have thought of that.)

Family or personal illness.

Weather. Volcanoes. Zombie attacks.

Or the seller may leave feedback in bulk once a week or so.

Don't panic.
