Your going to have to give more info then that to get a good answer but in the meantime I will say this ..
If you bid on 1 item you only get that 1 item and can not get 40 of them for the price of the auction as the seller maybe only wanted to sell 1 not 40 of the item ...
Not sure if I am anywhere close to answering what your actually asking but you need more info in your question so people understand what your asking

Contact the seller. Remember to ask for a combined and discounted shipping price.
If the seller is in the USA, and the total value of your shipment is under $100, enquire about using USPS First Class International shipping rather than the Global Shipping Program. If the value is over $100 or the total weight is over four pounds, the GSP is probably a better deal.
If the seller is in China, ask for Air Mail shipping. If the seller cannot do this( sometimes its a language issue) mark Day 40 after purchase on the calendar for your Item Not Recieved dispute, if necessary. Google Translate can be helpful with language problems.
