keep getting error message when click on pay now

I have bought an item and cannot pay for it, keep getting an error message, have tried various internet connections, i.e. chrome, safari, firefox.. but to no avail, trying to get help from ebay is just ridiculous, has any one else encountered this???

You should contact the seller and tell them you're unable to pay due to .......... They may have a restriction not visible to you.  Communication is always a good thing.  You should do this before they open case against you for non payment.  (4 days after close of sale)

How, very specifically, are you trying to pay for it?

From your "my eBay"?

From email message received from eBay confirming your purchase? 

From invoice sent by the seller?

etc...

In addition to switching browsers, did you try closing down the computer, going for a nice walk in the suddenly pleasant weather and then coming back and trying again?
