I'm assuming the item with the bid you want to retract is the same as the one you decided to Buy Now. (If not, then you have a bit of a problem.)
If it is the same item, then not a huge issue.
Best idea is to simply contact the seller, advise you bid but decided to Buy It Now and ask them to cancel your bid. They should be happy to do so because you did make a purchase. They can even do this once the auction is ended and you happened to win. Then the item will go to the bidder before you (assuming there was one). Some sellers prefer this to cancelling a bid while the auction is running because the `thrill of the auction` may see more bids come in and the item go for more than it would if your bid was removed and the price went down.
If you cannot contact the seller in time, and you are uncomfortable with letting your bid sit - you could go ahead and retract anyway. Just pick any of the drop-down choices (``entered wrong amount`` is a good one - and sort of valid 😉 )
Be sure to contact the seller to explain what happened, - that you bid, then decided to Buy It Now, so then retracted the bid. Again, if the seller has any sense - they will have no issue at all and will be pleased that you made a purchase.
