Hi, I was just kicking around, ebay.ca and the "My eBay Views" and its links. If you're not sure what I'm talking about ( if you're a seller you'll know) it's under the accounts tab on your my eBay page. I clicked on the PayPal account link, which says;
(Verify Your PayPal Account Join the millions of PayPal members who have become verified. A verified PayPal member is a U.S. account holder who has added and confirmed a bank account. Verified members are able to)
And it goes on to list the benefits of becoming a verified PayPal member. Which I have no problem with, I've been a verified PayPal member since for about 8 or 10 years give or take.
The question is this; this is eBay.ca isn't it? I did double and triple check that I was on.ca, and I mean I'm not a big'ol flag-waving kind of person, but why does the statement to join PayPal and become verified say, "a verified PayPal member is a US account holder", on the Canadian site. I don't think it means, and this is what I'm not sure of. Does it mean that Canadian PayPal members with a Canadian bank account only, don't have the same privileges as US members or members with a US bank account?
Or is it that, whoever writes these things for the site is kind of lazy and just cut-and-paste, and forgot to change US to Canada.
