other sellers sending 2nd chance offers on my sold items

i have been getting alot of other sellers sending second chance offers on items that i have already sold what can i do to prevent this from happening.?

Two options.

1) report the sellers to eBay
2) Make the auctions private

I assume these are not "real/official" 2nd chance offers.

You can report to eBay but I'm not that you have any evidence to support your claim.

Just curious but how do you know this is happening?

recped. how i know is the bidders that have bid on my auctions and did not win are sent an 2nd chance offer out side of ebay offering the exact same item .WHICH THEY DONT HAVE they just want the money from a buyer .

and belive me i have sent many emails to ebay.forwarding the emails my customer sent me.AND ITS HAPPENING ALOT NOT JUST ONE OR TWO TIMES ALMOST EVERY AUCTION I HAVE.AND ITS REALLY STARTING TO PISS ME OFF.

Someone on one of the other Canadian boards complained that a Power Seller scammed her. It appears to be a scammer.

It is happening to you because of the high dollar value of your items. Unfortunately, it's become a common scam. I would make my auctions private if I were you.

You can mention why the auction is private in the listing.

I would suggest maybe to change your password and user id very quickly, you can do so by going in MY EBAY. Someone is probably having access to your account.

Almost the same thing happened to me last month, I changed my eBay ID, but Scammer had penetrated my e-mail ID !

My own fault really, I used the same minimum six # type of password for the last few years.

I changed it to the max. 12 digit version (mixing # and Upper & Lower Case letters) allowed, And then redid my eBAy one aganing the problem went away.
