purchased an item and the seller closed therir account

I purchased an item mid November. The estimated delivery was between November 30 to December 2nd. By December 10th my item had not arrived so I contacted the seller. They notified me that it had been shipped December 5th. I expressed concern seeing as they assured me delivery by the 2nd which was 3 days previous. They asked me to keep in contact and that it should be there within a couple weeks. It never arrived....and to add insult to injury they have closed their account so... no way to contact them anymore. And ebay has no email that i can contact them with about it because it doesn't fit into one of their prefab categories. I did the right thing by trying to work this out with the seller but with 45 days just past now....it seems that no one needs to be accountable anymore and I am out almost $100.No wonder some sites ask you to allow 6 tro 8 weeks delivery. That's just enough time for your transaction to be a non-issue. Next time I will not try and work it out. I will just go ahead and open a case.

 

P.S. Ebay, It would be helpful if you had an ACTUAL email

More likely they were closed down for bad behaviour.

Immediately contact the Resolution Centre  up on the right under Customer Support and file an Item Not Recieved claim. You have only 45 days from purchase to do this so act immediately.

Tell eBay that the seller is Not A Registered User. This will speed things up.

 

If 45 days have passed,you should instead go to the credit card which Paypal processed for your payment. Call the 1-800 Customer Service number and ask about a chargeback.
