"Asbestos" prohibited substance or not?

I was wondering if it was illegal to sell crude asbestos samples (in vials) on ebay.ca ? Is is illegal to ship them using canada post?

If you do a search you will see lots of crude asbestos for sale on ebay

Just found out that it is illegal to ship via Canada Post, so I will not sell it via ebay.

But I wouldn't trust that.

There are lots of illegal / prohibited items being offered on eBay that just haven't been reported yet.

I don't think there is any restriction on selling asbestos in Canada. And I suppose the thing about buyers needing to know their own country's restrictions cover you for international sales.

Or you could be sneaky and just not mention that there is asbestos included. A picture tells a thousand tales.
