I am a seller and a buyer,, for the last 4 weeks every item i have left feedback for has not asked me if i received it by a certain date, have things changed, are they still using this as a defect measure.. because i have left feedback as a buyer over 15 times in the last month, and not once have i been asked if the item arrived by a certain date, any one else have any insight into this.. thanks

No insight, just profound gratitude.
Especially with the current state of labour relations at Canada Post with the possibility of revolving strikes (a few days or hours at various locations) or a national lockout by management.

I don't know but hopefully that measurement has died a quiet death.

I just left some feedback today and the question was still there.
If items come with tracking and delivery is before expected date, I think the question is not there as the tracking delivery over rides it.

I just looked at one that came with tracking and the question is there as well so only the shadow knows for sure.

If the order was sent with tracking, the question will not appear as long as ebay's shipping analytics have been alerted to the fact it has been delivered. There is often a delay in the updating of that information between 12 and 24 hours or more. As in I'll have had the item for half a day or more before the information it has been delivered is posted to ebay.
I often leave feedback as soon as the item has arrived, and that means the question still appears despite being tracked and delivered to me. I don't bother to answer it. Ebay's shipping set-up will figure out it has been delivered sooner or later. That 'delivered' metric will overwrite anything the buyer says anyway.
