Buy It Now ends the auction.

You ship when she pays.

If Paypal is holding the payment, as it will for a new seller, you still ship when she pays and not when the money is released.

However.

If you did not use Buy It Now on the auction, she does not win until the auction is over. If she is trying to hurry you into anything, cancel her bid and put her on your Blocked Bidder List (Manage Bidders).

Half the point of a buyer choosing Buy It Now (when an auction is also being offered) is because they don't want to wait.  They are willing to pay the higher price to get the item sooner.

(They also don't want to take the chance that the might lose the auction and/or that the item will end up selling for more than the BIN price.)

So, yes, if someone chooses Buy It Now, and pays you, ship immediately!  Result - happy customer.  Hoped for result - repeat sales.
