i believe if you have a store, and go over you allotment, and are ok with paying the extra listing fees, you will not be selected to receive the promos..i have paid the extra fees for the last 3 months because i go over, my 250 listings for free. and i have not got A SINGLE . promo.. so i think maybe, if you don't pay extra for listing after you run out, then maybe then,,they will hand you a promo,, can anyone else jump in here and see if this is a pattern..

I don't think it has anything to do with paying for the extra listings. I list on .com (always have) and I used to get some listing promos but ever since the rules changed about listing in Cdn only on .ca I have yet to receive any listing promo. Actually that's not quite correct, I have got a couple for listing only on .ca but chose not to use them. Could this be why you haven't received any?

I'm thinking that the promos for .com only go to those who are registered in the USA since neither of my stores have had any since beginning of the summer. I am registered in Canada even though one store was opened on .ca and one on .com (I guess I should change the .com one over to .ca when I have the time).

Not my experience, here on this store ID I have not paid an insertion fee since March of 2012, other than the .ca CAD/USD transition promo I haven't had an invite to a promo since April.

On the other hand my non-store selling id's have been getting some but not all of them.

I learned long ago, if you want a steady flow of listing promos especially when they are as infrequent as they currently are then you need multiple id's to improve your odds.

I used to get them fairly frequently but have not been invited to the last 3 they had. Did get the ones when they were encouraging us to switch to selling in CDN funds on .ca. I do have a store too. I list on both .ca & .com. I have not received any promos from .com since the switch to CDN only on .ca. Wondered too if this was because I am registered in .ca. Would be nice to get invited to some as we are leading up to Xmas. Only have the one ID.
