I bid on a product, but did'nt want it anymore after contacting the seller and they clarified the description of the product, since the description was confusing. I asked them if they could cancel the bid and they accepted, left them their feedback like they asked. Today I just got a unpaid item case opened for the item that they said would be cancelled. What are my options right now.

If you do not pay for the item and get an unpaid item strike, any feedback you already left will be removed.
In the future, ask for clarication of an item before bidding as sellers are not obligated to cancel transactions.
If you had placed a bid and then the seller changed the description (which would have a date and time stamp), you would have had a valid reason to retract your bid will the auction was still active. Once the auction ended, it was the seller's choice to cancel the transaction or file an unpaid item dispute even if the description wasn't clear.

Hello 'mariamouedraogo',
Let me guess, your seller is in China. As soon as I hear something about 'leave feedback first...', it's always the same.
So you may have to pay for the thing or get the unpaid strike. Just for your own reference, if you have not already seen it, have a look at the following link about Unpaids:
http://pages.ebay.ca/help/buy/questions/unpaid-item.html
It's good to know. And another link you ought to have a look at is the one about how a cancelled purchase works. A seller sends a Request for Cancellation (which you quickly respond to accept) when an item is already bought. That is, the auction is ended or you clicked 'buy'. Here's how it works:
http://pages.ebay.ca/help/sell/cancel-transaction-process.html
Otherwise, if you simply want to undo a bid before the auction, there are reasons and times for which this is permissible. You can always ask the seller to 'unbid' you, but as you know, you may get an empty promise. Most people retract for themselves should the need arise, and that way they know the deed is done. This link will tell you about that:

For now, what I would suggest is that you contact the seller and politely ask him if he will close the dispute, reminding him that he agreed to cancel in exchange for positive feedback. After all, it's poor business practice to lie to people, not to mention morally and ethically reprehensible.
If it is a small amount, it might be best to just pay for it if he will not agree to end the dispute. You have 4 days from when the dispute was opened to pay. And there is no time limit in which to respond to feedback you left for him. Follow scifan's directions by going to the Feedback forum at the bottom of the page here.
I'll assume this seller has blocked you from ever buying from him again. Otherwise, he would run the risk of you buying some other inexpensive item, - and you may not feel so positive about it. So if you get no response from him, he's probably blocked you.
Best of luck. 🙂
