I've tried cancelling a transaction which was denied by the buyer but it seems he has no way of paying me.
Case type: Cancel transaction
Case status: Closed. Buyer declined your request to cancel the transaction. You will not receive a Final Value Fee credit.
Is there still a way to open a unpaid dispute so i can get my Final Value fees back? When i try it says
error
Your request to cancel this transaction has been sent to the buyer. It's not possible to open an unpaid item case while this request is in progress.

Hello 'sk8only',
Sorry, no, it's one or the other, - Cancellation, or Unpaid item. I have no idea what transpired between you and the buyer to cause him to refuse the cancellation, but at this point I would say give ebay a call and explain the problem to them. They may be able to make an adjustment and get you back your fees.
At the top right of the page here under Customer Support, choose Customer Support again, and then the Contact eBay tab. You'll get a phone number to call and a number code which expires, so do it when you're ready to call. It's a free call, and you have nothing to lose. No guarantees, but you won't get anything if you don't ask.
Good luck. 🙂

Hi .. did buyer ask you to cancel. Always explain that ebay will ask and be sure to accept. Even then mistakes do occur.
Ask buyer to send you a message through eBay that they made a mistake in denying. Then , use contact us and call ebay. Hopefully they will correct and credit fee. It is the only solution.
