Inexpensive or wholesale jewellery is sometimes listed as "White K plated". What does this mean? Is it supposed to mean rhodium-plated? "K" is the symbol for potassium....it's confusing to say the least. I'm thinking it might be just a popular term that really means nothing.
Thanks for any info you may have!

Not a clue.
However as no one else has responded I would suggest asking on the

Means (14- 18 -24 or any other number) Karat gold plated = in most cases just fashion jewelry if not said silver or marked 925
If it's really plated should be marked 18KGF or 24KGF = metal stamp

Fake silver is sometimes called 'white metal'. Other terms include German silver, Tibetan silver, Britannia metal for similar materials.
