where do I buy a Canadian gift certificate for ebay

Frustrating,

all I could find out about  is that Gift CARDS are only sold in the US.

Gift CERTIFICATEs are for Canada.

After wondering around ebay ca. & ebay US

I found that above, but have no clue how old the info is.

And went to answer center at both sites, nothing.

Well it was daylight, when I started this search. Now it is dark and I'M DONE................

Does anyone know: Where do you BUY Gift (Certificates ...Canada)

This link is no longer working and always responds with "receipient unable to receive money" even if I choose to print the certificate.

Don't bother. There is no solution. They intentionally removed the link. I talked to the specialists in ebay and paypal. There are no special at all. No one has a clue. I figured out that they want you to transfer money directly to paypal so that they can charge 3.2%. If you buy gift card, paypal cannot charge anything.

Received an American EBay Gift Card for Christmas $100. and was told I cannot use it as it was purchased in the USA and because I am Canadian and have a Canadian account with Paypal and Ebay I cannot use..The only way is to generate an american account and we all know how tough that would be living in Canada.....Canadians Beware .....!!!!! Don't get screwed over like I did...

it use to be simple to buy a gift CERTIFICATE from ebay and my dad loved it when i got them for him but now they have made it a complete  headache to try and get one why would you change somthing that use to be so easy what do you not want my money e-bay fine ill keep it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! OMG. SO FRUSTRATING. Thought I had found the answer, clicked on the link and got to a Paypal page that says "You have requested an outdated version of PayPal. This error often results from the use of bookmarks." Basically an error page. Unbelievable. I'm trying to give you money, ebay, and you do not want to take it.

3 years later and this still hasn't been solved. Canadians can't buy Ebay gift cards anymore. Oh well a birthday came up just bought a $50 Amazon CDN card. Ebay's loss is Amazon's gain.
