Being asked by Paypal to file report with law enforcement agency

I have a Paypal case "item or service significantly different than originally described" and the seller is not responding. Paypal is about to make a decision and has given me 10days to file /provide a police report. Has anyone been in this situation? Help! Thanks

I've never heard of PP requiring a police report and it doesn't make sense to require one fir an item not as described.  Are you sure that's what they are asking?  Is it possible to copy and paste what they have told you?  You can delete any personal information such as your your name etc.

Did the item arrive too late for an eBay dispute or did you lose an eBay dispute and appealed to Paypal?

I closed paypal months ago when they went insane and wanted to "fine" users for "wrongspeak" online.

I suggest you do the same after you get a refund because paypal is trash
