Ebay should seriously make sellers specify clearly beside an item they're selling if it's shipped by them,or drop ship from faraway places. In my case, seller stated that my item will be shipped from Canada, but when I actually paid for it, I got an email, letting me know that it will come from China directly to me;time of delivery unknown!! To me,that's a dirty pool, and it shouldn't be allowed. Give a buyer an option to buy or not to buy, befor commitingto buy!

Ask the seller to cancel, citing the Not As Described description.
The Location is supposed to be the location of the product not the seller.
You can Report the seller for this.
When the item arrives, if he does not cancel, you can open a Not As Described dispute.
The NAD is the location.
He will be required tosend you return shipping.
When the item is returned, you will be refunded.
Do NOT refuse the shipment, this negates the Money Back Guarantee and means the seller can keep your payment.
You can leave feedback. "Shipped from China Took XXweeks to arrive" . You have 500 keystrokes but the less said the more effective.

eBay uses the estimated delivery time that was showing in the listing when you made the purchase. Since an item sent from overseas will likely take longer than the original estimated time from Canada, if your package is late you can open an item not received claim the day after the original estimated delivery date.
As others mentioned eBay does state that the item location in the listing is correct however they have no way of knowing if the sellers info is accurate when they do the listing.
