I bought this doll, they sent me the wrong one, they said it was picked wrong off shelf, mail it back and they would send right one; so I mailed it back at my expense, . Now they never opened it and put return to sender, I paid a lot of money for this and they won’t send me the right doll ,or give my money back, and I’m not happy with e bay at all. I'm sorry that this happened to you. When you are sent the wrong item, it is always best to open a return request and ask for a refund.  It seems that some sellers will promise to send another item but they never do.  If you had opened an item not as described return request through ebay the seller would have had to send you a return label and then refund you once they received the item back.

You have the original item back correct?  If it has been more than 30 days since you originally received the item than you are too late to open a return request.  If you paid with Paypal and it has been less than 180 days since you paid, you can open a claim with Paypal. However, you would have to pay for return shipping.  If you paid with a credit card you should contact your credit card company and open a claim.

If you ever have any problems with purchases here in the future, please read ebay's money back guarantee so that you know what to do. You could also come to this board and ask us for suggestions.

With eBay the Resolution Centre is at the bottom of most pages.

Go with the automated system which is fast and efficient.

This would have been an Item Not As Described dispute (INAD or NAD).

The seller would have been instructed to send you return shipping and when the tracking showed they had it back, you would be refunded.

You have 30 days after delivery for this.

If you have missed that date with the back and forth, you can as pjcdn says go to your Paypal account.

The PP Resolution Centre is  at the top of your PP account page under Activities.

Same NAD dispute.

But, PP insists that the buyer pay for return postage.  (which means you will pay it twice, sorry).

When TRACKING* shows delivery, you will be refunded.

If you did not use your PP account , but paid directly with your credit card,  go to the 1-800 number (or the card's website) and enquire about a chargeback. Card policies differ but I had to do one yesterday, and the phone clerk was very helpful.  If you can avoid paying for return shipping **  that would be a bonus.

If you used a debit card or a gift card or a bank account to back PP, you may not be able to get a refund.

And you have a full 60 days from purchase to leave feedback. EBay does not use FB to assess member accounts, but other buyers do.

The most effective FB is calm and factual.

*Tracking is vital and expensive. Here is the Canada Post website.

** Hmm- you have the Proof of Delivery  for your original shipment right?
