I've had three sellers send me a message after payment has been made saying that they've found a stain or rip on the item and now wont send it but will refund me. Three! Yesterday I received a coach wristlet that was supposed to be authentic (ordered from someone a few provinces over) and its clearly not. Is this a normal thing with ebay and have I just run into a few difficult sellers?

Sometimes it can just be the category. Some are more likely to have problems than others.
Always check the feedback of the seller before making your decision to purchase. It can speak volumes about the seller.
If they were auctions, it would be my guess that the clothing sellers did not get the price they wanted. Watch to see if they relist the same items. If they do, move on to another seller.
If you have received an item that is not authentic contact the seller and try to work things out with him/her first. If it doesn't work out then file an Item Significantly Not as Described. You will have to return the item with tracking but that is for your protection so the seller can't claim non receipt.
Ask questions before making a purchase and do a little research on similar items. It's worth the time and maybe a little extra cost to make it a good buying experience.
Good luck with your future purchases.

Now that is a seller who is going the extra mile to make things right for you. Remember that sellers are human. Things can be missed when writing a description, items can be misplaced and mistakes can be made. A seller who will work with you to resolve a problem is the kind of seller you want to deal with.

I think I'd wait and see what happens.
That is........ it's odd that a seller would miss all those stains but it can happen.
You don't really know what you're dealing with until you see what the seller sends you or if the seller sends anything at all.
See if you get the item before agreeing to anything such as cancelling the transaction....
