New interface on desktop?

I'm i alone or ebay updated the listings interface? Is that a bug? 

That is so unintuitive now... Clicking on photo zoom instead of making it large, tag about views will hide photos in some cases, seller details is weird left/right and on top of bids, bid bar now is half the page large!?

Everytime they try to 'improve' things they make it worst

It's not just you, I just checked mine they are this new way. I liked the previous way better also, especially the new zoom instead of option to have them all large. Sigh...guess someone thought this way would be better. Hoping it's just a trial and they go back to the previous!

The new display is closer to what you see when you check a listing on dot com. It's been that way for months. Not sure when it changed but did notice the difference awhile back. Like you I and MSAU I prefer the old view and setup. Pretty sure if this is what we are seeing now, this is what we will be "stuck" with going forward!!!

To check the difference just update the web address to com vs ca.

As a side the interface for dot com sellers and how it relates to filters has been different for ages when you compare directly to dot ca. 2 examples (you have to be set on shipping to a US zipcode) there is no option for Canada only from a US perspective.  You get by distance, USA only, NA and Worldwide. (Almost seems discrimatory)Also have spotted 1, 2, 3 or 4 day delivery within USA. There is also a filter called Deals and Savings on com. Missing on ca. Other strange discrepancy listings with 5 or more followers show on dot com. Watcher numbers  do not show when viewed on dot ca.

Even worse than the new Layout/Pictures/Interface is that one's own sponsored items appear on one's own listings, I bet that counts as a "view", lol.

I noticed little "tweaks" being done over the last few weeks on the site, things like font, and button shapes changing, bet that the link issue two weeks ago was caused by this tinkering...

Here's a good exemple of how stupid it is. What if the top left corner here has a defect to be seen? What if there is a crack, scratch, or whatever right there? Ebay will drive item not as described cases while there is none, just because they hide seller's photo. They better fix this asap

You need to crop your pictures "Square" and leave a border around the edge, this is the ONLY way you will avoid that issue.

It's the standard shape and you will never get cropped...

It's why I changed my picture format years ago and using a bold color makes your item stand out from the masses...

What was your observation you made about fonts? I am finding, as of late majority of changes are found (discovered) entirely by accident.
