I am beyond words on this issue. I am not sure if this is something I registered for s I must be crazy. I am a disabled Buyer on eBay and buy no means rich.charged me $49.00 shipping fee on not even a $10.00 item? ARE THEY INSANE?
I want them gone, no more of my orders are to be shipped by them. As far as I am concerned this shipping fee should be revised and recharged an acceptable shipping amount.
I am also going to contact my credit card company to see if I can dispute this charge.
I will wit 24 hrs for a reply back from you. If you can deal with this issue then I have no reason to contact the bank.
Also please advise me as to how I go about removing them from not being able to ship anymore of my orders.
I am appalled at this charge and I am chocked that a shipping company thinks their better than other companies to charge
this exuberant shipping fee?
I could go on and on but I am sure you get the picture. Thank-you for your assistance on this and await your reply.

I feel your pain and a hard lesson. Don't buy from sellers that use "global shipping program". Try to buy from a Canadian seller first as I assume that you live in Canada. Make sure that you know the shipping cost before purchasing, if not sure email the seller first.

If ,when the payment button comes up, you don't click on it, you will not be charged and the transaction ends.
So take your time and read before you buy.
If you did already agree to pay, but don't, the seller can open an Unpaid Item Dispute. If you still don't pay, you will have a Strike against your buying account.
If you don't get another for 12 months, it will time out. If you get another within that 12 months however, you will find yourself Blocked by thousands of sellers.
The Global Shipping Program is a Seller Protection.
It was not designed to help buyers.
You can avoid it by Searching with List View (not Gallery) on a desktop or laptop (not a mobile).
Above all, you can avoid it by taking responsibility for your own choices.
Buyers are told when listings will be shipped through the GSP.
Watch for those listings and pass them by.

There are two easy and simple ways to avoid sellers who use the Global Shipping Program if that is what you choose to want to do.
One is to limit your search results to Canada only. This is accomplished as a filter along the left-hand side of the page. Example:
The other is to set your search to 'list' view and avoid any listing where you see the term Customs services and international tracking provided. Example:
Your excessive 'shipping' costs (postage plus import fees) will be eliminated if you do one or both of these things.
