I made a purchase today and paid with a combination of ebay giftcard and paypal. The seller is saying they can't see where I made payments, despite me sending them the transaction details I received from paypal. Also, the balance of the giftcard is now $0.00 after the transaction.
I spoke with someone at ebay and they told me that the payment went through and they told me to contact the seller because everything was fine on their end.
Not sure what to do...

Give it a little time.
If the seller is new or returning, she may be confused because your cleared payment is being Held against her performance.
Once cleared, the payment shows as Pending, and she is required to ship.
Some newbies panic about this since they don't have enough background to realize how the payment system works.
Worse would be a seller who has returned after a hiatus and has not yet set up her Managed Payments account, which means that eBay has no way to pass your payment to her.
As a buyer, MP is not your problem. It's just there to annoy us sellers. 😎
You can contact the seller and ask if they do have a Managed Payments account, and if your payment is there as Pending.
You may as well ask about the tracking number while you're at it. This politely tells him that you are aware of the system and he should get a move on.
If the seller does not have an MP account, ask for a refund. It will take her a while to get it in place and she is unlikely to ship before she sees the payment, even as Pending.
BTW- using a mixed payment of giftcard and Paypal (or PP balance and credit card or any other mixture) is chancy. It is difficult to get a full refund when the payment came from different sources. If one source shows the refund, the other source is very likely to refuse the remaining refund request. In future, KISS when buying online.
