Should i be concerned?

Hey folks! Should I be concerned about this tracking line?

Item hasn't moved in several days...

In Canada Post Website...it says waiting for item?
Is this just normal action. Thanks in advance to all those that help in response.

Should i be concerned?

Tracking is a Seller Protection.

It is used to disprove false claims of non-delivery.

It is pretty useless to buyers.

It doesn't move anything faster.

It doesn't make transit more secure.

If you have a problem with porch pirates or other delivery problems, talk to your local PO about their new FREE Flex-Delivery service.

You can pick up your parcel whenever the PO is open, and whoever does pick it up has to show identification.

Should i be concerned?

Thanks Pal. Yeah I just checked. I noticed that there have been weird tracking stories through and from the same area. What a mess. Presumably the key is that the packages are ultimately arriving at proper destination. Right?

That’s pretty much my philosophy, yeah 😁

It's weird because a package coming from some area 4 days earlier was scanned 2 days later after "item left origin country"...now I see this status...The scans will drive anyone nuts I suppose.

The tracking for my item has several stating “In transit to destination province” despite the cities identified in the scan ARE in my province. One of these scans shows up twice with different cities identified for the same date and time.

Frankly, I think we buyers have been oversold on the importance and usefulness of tracking.

Mine has arrived, actually, and just within the estimated time window.

And if you were to believe the tracking, it also arrived the next day 🤪

Thanks for input. Yeah. It's clearly just for seller protection. Scans all over the place a lot of the times anyways. Doesn't make much sense a lot of times.
