item not recieved, no response from buyer, sent a fake tracking number

I paid for an item that was never shipped, the seller gave me a fake tracking number so I can't make a claim to the shipping company, and it has been past 45 days so I cannot put in a resolution request with ebay or paypal.  Also, I can't even leave feedback on this seller because the purchase has been archived.  Is there anything I can do at this point?

Can't leave feedback? So you waited over 60 days.

 

You can TRY phoning the 1-800 customer service number of the credit card you really paid with. (PP is just a mediator, preventing your seller from seeing your financial information.) Ask the clerk about making a chargeback.

Do this immediately because even cards have deadlines.
