Hi Again.......I did have an interesting day.:O A little unusal but fun......My daughter and grand-kids went on a sking trip and they asked me to feed their animals for the weekend.....2 dogs....1 horse....4 cats....So I went out there (only 2 mi. from my house) plowed thru the snow to feed the horse....2 dogs jumping....4 cats running all over the place.......when I opened her door to go in......2 dogs jumping......4 cats running...Needless to say......1 hr. later..I finally got everyone back were they belonged.....plowed thru the snow to my car......fell in the door...exausted..but happy:-x

I had a horse in my youth, and I really miss that part of my life. I remember spending overnights in the barn all the time, just to be near her. I love the smell of horses. Hubs takes me to the farm of a friend of his occasionally, "just so Julie can smell the horses". lol!

I grew up on a farm too.......but that was back when every thing was hard work......milking cows by hand...hauling water to pigs and chickens....getting stomped on by the horses.....Ha.....I think I survived all that because I was young.......But no way would I want to do that at my age.....love just having time to myself and puttering around.;-) I read the threads by the young mothers now and know just what their going thur......But they were also happy days...:-x
Hi Nikki.....those days with the family are good....most of my kids and grandkids live (3 families in the u.s.) 1 in Quebec...and 1 in northern B.C. Lynn and the girls live just outside of town so I get to see them lots...I hear from the other ones.....just thru e-mail, but that's just fine.....They all are really good kids...:8}

Nikki...I love when you write about the waves. Though probably not as mighty as ocean waves, as a child growing up on one of the Great Lakes, crashing waves is a sound I truly miss. 🙂
Shirley...I had to chuckle re: farm life. As a youth, I remember my mom using a humourous farm incident to explain one of the aspects of God:
One of the cows had pooped on a barn cat's head...LOL...and that cat was slightly stunned, long enough for her to see a mouse squirming just beneath the straw. After a nice little "lunch", I'm sure the cat thanked the cow instead of hissing! Mom said, "You must also forgive those who poop on you, as God always makes good come of it! Remember to thank God for all things, even the times when life poops on you." :^O

Morning! I wasnt planning on goign to church today..I only have one day off, and I hav ebeen getting up early...BUT DF encouraged me to come..Since we have been dating..I have only missed two sundays, and that was only bc/ we were away. Have a good one!
