Hi Everyone........please pray for my 11 year old grandaughter........she has been having eye problems, and has had to have drops put in every hour......She has an appointment with the specialist tomorrow morning.....it is not looking very good. 😞 Please pray for her...her name is Brandi....Thank you.....
Nikki: If you're talking to her, tell her I'll say a prayer for her and that I send her my best wishes for recovery.

Our loving Father. We would boldly approach Thy wonderous throne of Grace this evening in the most lovely and precious name of Thy Beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
We give Thee thanks for Him, for who He is, and for all that He has done for us at Calvary. We thank Thee that He is ever present and near. It is He , Father who leads us to Thy thone bearing our needs and the needs of others. We thank Thee that He is the ever present help in our time of need.
Father we thank Thee for answered prayer. Especially this evening for a couple dear to my own heart. I ask oh Father that healing and reconcilation continue and that the enemy not gain any ground. I leave them in Thy great care as I know Thou lovest and carest for them.
Father, collectively we would raise before Thee the names and needs mentioned on this thread and other threads on this board. Thou knowest each one by name and knowest far more then we do their needs. We pray for healing where needed and comfort for loved ones.
Father , we also pray for the people that may be harms way this evening in Alberta and BC. Father, we ask for Thy great protection upon folks this evening, that these weather events do not bring harm to any.
As always, Father we commit ourselves and others into Thy great care. And we do so with the confidence that Thou does mean what Thou has promised and that Thou does truly love us. Thank you Father for ever caring for us. We give thanks in His most precious name, our Lord Jesus Christ.

I don't know if you've seen this one before but I thought it was so cute that I just had to post it.
Psalm 23
A mom was concerned about her kindergarten son walking to school. He didn't want his mother to walk with him.
She wanted to give him the feeling that he had some independence but yet know that he was safe.
So she had an idea of how to handle it. She asked a neighbor if she would please follow him to school in the mornings, staying at a distance, so he probably wouldn't notice her. She said that since she was up early with her toddler anyway, it would be a good way for them to get some exercise as well, so she agreed.
The next school day, the neighbor and her little girl set out following behind Timmy as he walked to school with another neighbour boy he knew. She did this for the whole week.
As the boys walked and chatted, kicking stones and twigs, Timmy's little friend noticed the same lady was following them as she seemed to do every day all week. Finally he said to Timmy: "Have you noticed that lady following us to school all week? Do you know her?" Timmy nonchalantly replied, "Yeah, I know who she is."
The friend said, "Well, who is she?" "That's just Shirley Goodnest," Timmy replied, "and her daughter Marcy." "Shirley Goodnest? Who the heck is she and why is she following us? "
"Well," Timmy explained, "every night my Mom makes me say the 23rd Psalm with my prayers, 'cuz she worries about me so much. And in the Psalm, it says: 'Shirley Goodnest and Marcy shall follow me all the days of my life.', so I guess I'll just have to get used to it!"

Hi....update on Brandi......I went with her and her Mom to the specialists today.....on the way in there (Edmonton)...the oldest girl(Nikki) called Lynn(my daughter) to tell us that their special dog had gotten run over and killed......the driver never stopped to help Nikki.....That dog was Brandi's special friend.....Nikki had to deal with it all alone....A friend of theirs came over and helped Nikki bury him.....
The specialist said that there was no change in Brandi's eye....she has to continue to put the drops in every hr. and to come back and see him in a week.....She had to have blood tests done....7 vials they took....and exrays of her back shoulder and side....8 exrays in all....
Sorry if this is mixed up.....but I'm just plum played out and they were too.....Has not been a very good day for all of us....Please keep praying for us all.....
