Welcome to a place where the BIBLE can be discussed rationally, intelligently, and positively without unnecessary argument!!
Welcome to a place where prayer can be requested and encouraged!!
Welcome to a place where positive and encouraging thoughts from scripture can be shared in a caring and loving way!!
Welcome to a place away from all the arguments, recriminations, and negativity of the outside world!!
Welcome to a place of rest and safety!!
Welcome to a place where Philippians 2:3 is practiced: "Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves."
Welcome to this Christian thread.
(Please leave all aggression, bitterness, and philosophy outside the door and please wipe your feet before coming inside!!)

I live in my own little world. But it's OK... They know me Here!

Eph.6:10-17.

Artie said, "I would like them to say I was a wonderful husband, a fine spiritual leader, and a great family man."
Merle commented, "I would like them to say I was a wonderful teacher and servant of God who made a huge difference in peoples lives."
Don said, "I'd like them to say, 'Look! He's moving!'"

Too blessed to be stressed.

Barkyd is a night owl, I am an early bird. I'm two hours ahead of 'my usual self' here but THAT wasn't the problem....
I've been seeing a naturopath for health issues I have, and she has me on quite a restricting diet (It seems to be working however- YAYYYYYYY - as I feel better now than I have done in 2 1/2 years). Last night for supper I decided to join in and eat what everyone else was eating. Bad choice on my part. Indigestion majoralis!! Up for two hours and finally fell asleep in the recliner about 5 ish. Never again...am back to my healthy eating again today.
Live and learn they say. 😉
Hope everyone is having a blessed Wednesday :-x

Everything I need to know about life, I learned from Noah's Ark
One : Don't miss the boat.
Two : Remember that we are all in the same boat.
Three : Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
Four : Stay fit When you're 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
Five : Don't listen to critics; just get on with
the job that needs to be done.
Six : Build your future on high ground.
Seven : For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
Eight : Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
Nine : When you're stressed, float a while.
Ten : Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
Eleven : No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting...

TOB--you have my sympathy--I am diabetic and am pretty careful about what I eat--but every once in awhile Island Farms Caramel Explosion Ice Cream sings its siren song, and I have a pretty nasty night. Hope you feel much better now.
Nellie--"look he's moving":^O
Nancy--you are up late or very early, you okay?
Valve--very profound--Especially like #1,#2--my favorite is #11.
Heavy mist this morning, but the sun is coming out, so a quick check of my email, then out to garden.
Hope everyone is having a nice day.

TOB--It is so great to hear you are having a good time.
Bette--I am still shaking me head over the idea of a 7 hour shopping trip with inlaws AND a teenager.
Christine--49? Isn't that amazing?:-D
I have not seen Seasage, I enjoyed her posts too. I think it was a matter of being bullied but I could be wrong. She was also a really busy person and it may just be that.

Thank you for the prayers, etc. It was not one of my better days. Going into Toronto was a pain. There are so many new homes(condo's) in Mississauga that I ended up driving around three train stations before I could find a spot to park. The test went quickly however it caused extra heart beats (nothing dangerous) that I felt all night - cranky couch potato time. Actually it was couch to bathroom and back time as they tell you to drink lots and lots of water after the test.
I really enjoy the grandchildren stories. They are so innocent and loving - a true gift from God. All I have is the little one next door and since they are quite religious I don't feel comfortable offering her food.
Hope that everyone has a lovely day.
Nancy
