valve it is easier to witness to those who are truly "lost", but unfortunately most have made a decision to NOT believe. I think there is a difference.

I know they can still change their mind, but more and more it seems unlikely.

As happy as I am with my family and my life, I find myself wishing that the Lord would come sooner rather than later. I worry for my daughter, that in her lifetime there will be decreasing tolerance for those who believe, not to mention wars, pestilence, and storms that will make the storms of the last 2 years seem small.

I wonder if many other Christians feel the same?

Valve and Ralph. Keep posting about your faith, both of you. Ralph, don't let not being able to reach everyone hurt you. Keep being a strong Christian man--if some don't get it, there are others that will. I know some just read this thread so they can ridicule. I think we all know a Bible verse that covers that. Just find that illusive "ignore" button to those posts. You and I don't agree on some aspects of Christianity, but I always, always find your posts interesting, and I like that you give the supporting scripture.

Don't worry about your beautiful daughter. Being raised in such a loving home, she will be strong and she will seek the kind of man her father is.

TOB--prayers for the tests tomorrow. I am sure the doctors have covered this, but by any chance has your mother being at a different altitude? My mother's lungs bled when we visited Banff.

The mist rising off Elk lake (where your Olympic rowers train sometimes) was uplifting beautiful this morning. What a beautiful world.

I think it does depending upon your age group for instance, of course there can be other personal factors as you have stated. My uncle who was a devoted Cristian all his life and in his 84th year was hoping he would live through the rapture he expected soon, but the Lord took him home three years ago.

Morning all! Its turning out to be a nice day afterall! Was worried because of the on/off rain yesterday but even with the overcast sky its quite bright and warm. 🙂

Good morning!

I was enjoying my day until DH and I decided to put up a 5 person tent in a space not big enough for it. Now I am in here....hiding. LOL

It was 3 years ago today that I began my chemotherapy and radiation treatments. It seems like a lifetime ago. I am such a different person today than I was then...a better person.

Sometimes I imagine what life would be like without all of its lumps,bumps and circles in the road. It's amazing how we often have to make a complete circle in order to go forward. They seem like challenges at the time when in fact they are learning curves.

I have a happy, and very thankful heart.

My mum backed out of having the bronchoscopy done. There has been no further bleeding. She sees the doctor on Wednesday (I don't get there until late Wednesday night).
