I had a good day today. I can stop taking one pill and am now allowed a glass of wine once a week. I am so looking forward to dinner at a nice restaurant!

Hey Trupti! Yeah! I don't know if I'm addicted. . .yet. I have to admit I've had cyber reunions all over the place. . .tons of reminiscing & discussions 'behind the scenes'. I have my son and GF on Facebook and my daughter & BF on myspace. I've found it the best way to communicate - cuz they check their respective boards more often than they do their e-mail. I can choose who I let into my life to see my thoughts. If someone posts something inappropriate I can delete it without worrying about repercussions. I don't know . . . besides Shirley and I and a couple of my friends - I don't know how many 50+ are on there. I definitely have picked up lots of cousins - distant and not so distant on there. Good times. . . .:)

Good evening everyone. Good to read everyone including our guests from down under (I suspect they are sleeping off their party about now). I see they even brought along their own designated flyer for the trip back home.
Seemed to be having fun though as they cruised the CTS boards this afternoon.

Nellie that was a nice poem. You do have a heart of gold for everyone.

Hope everyones weekend goes well. Thoughts and prayers where needed and hugs all around. I feel just like Nellie's siggy....just too blessed.

And I enjoy the One who allows me to feel this way.

Was thinking a bit about love today. I mean the real deep heart felt love. You know I don't think love can be earned. It can be received but never earned. Thats because love is an issue of the heart. That is where it dwells.

There is nothing I can do to earn the love of another. The love is created and flows out from another because the love in the heart chooses to do so.

Thats the only way to explain love when the unlovable are loved. The unloveable are not worthy of love. But love just loves because its love. There are some who would read and understand.

Snort! on the about 50--although I do seem to remember a thread that had a really troubling activity on Hallowe'en related to this.

What a beautiful time of year this is--the water is clear and still, sky blue and the leaves changing. Hope everyone is getting a chance to enjoy all this.

We have spent the day going through bags and albums of old photos....my mum and my aunt spent hours reminising and 'remember when?'ing. And they laughed and laughed and laughed.....(and cried!) ( I tried to keep up jotting notes on the back of photos).

Mum has made my favourite childhood dessert...macaroni pudding. (I know it sounds grose but it's a Brit thing, and I used to love it and haven't had it for years). This is her first time in the kitchen since I have been here.

Oh it has been such a good day. 😄
