Can this person address the problem with the listing to sell to the Americas? This is a major problem as many U.S. sellers think this refers to their country alone. I've heard that we Canadians are being bashed for asking those who list this destination for clarification as the Americas includes North, Central and South America.

We've been asking to get this destination removed for some time and nobody seems to know when it will get done.

You are correct that the "to Americas" wording on the ship to location is confusing. We have worked with our product group in San Jose (eBay HQ) to change it and this change is to occur this summer.


By the way, my favourite beverage is Diet Pepsi.

I see a few folks who were at eBay On the Road yesterday (Carly just told me). Welcome and thanks for helping us out with On the Road.

Just for background, I'm the Country Manager for Canada. Sorry to be a few minutes late but we were running down the answer to the first question posted (the Americas question).

Hi Gary! How are you! I bet you are looking forward to Live in San Jose! I have an off topic question for you since you run too. I found a great 14 mile run that takes you around Fisherman's Wharf and accross and back the Golden Gate Bridge in San Fran, are there any such beautiful runs in San Jose?

Please ensure that .ca staff get out of the office to do this sort of thing on continued basis. It does wonders for newbies and even softens crusty old PS'ers.

I just want to know if there are any other dates planned for on the road in Ontario. I can't make it to Markham next week for the advanced selling course.

Also I would like to comment that it would be a good idea if you were able to do a bulk relist directly into to Ebay stores after fixed price listings end.

Well, I don't run as much as I used to...something about going over 40 and my knees. They get crunchy!

There is a great route in San Jose that is called the "Los Gatos Creek Trail". Since you're going to eBay Live, the trail is actually just out the back from eBay HQ. As it sounds, it follows a creek from San Jose into Los Gatos (which is toward the mountains from San Jose). Very pretty and a great path. I can send you more info on it...

would be nice if Canadian PowerSellers could access the PS section of the eBay store. Right now we can buy from the regular store, but are denied access to the PowerSeller part.
