Ebay electronics resellers cry foul on new ‘refurbished’ rules

A new policy hidden behind an NDA could create rigid tiers of 'refurbished' and 'used' sellers on Ebay.

Ebay electronics resellers cry foul on new ‘refurbished’ rules

Thanks for sharing. The bonus link is just as scary. eBay is doing crickets in the favour of little sellers that are doing their part to ease the burden on landfill sites while attempting to only put a few sheckles in their pockets.

In early days of eBay the rules were to describe fairly, honestly and to the best of your ability. Buyers were responsible for reading a listing and using their judgement when making any purchases. Now with return policies that cater in favour of buyers there is no accountability even if the seller was open, accurate and honest. There are no guarantees even when you do use a recognized program to certify your products. Still can come back to bite you in the mctushie!! Extra pain for limited or no gain. Become totally 1 up-personship for big sellers. They will always win because of their volume over the little entity.
