Tatting with a needle is really very easy. I tried to learn with the shuttle - Forget it!! It was like trying to read hyrogliphics. I can pick up practically any craft, read about it and off I go but not shuttle tatting. It's hard to explain online but is really pretty simple. It's lacework and is so pretty. I finished a piece for my grandmother yesterday. I'm going to give it to her for her birthday.
