security certificate issues when trying to do a search

Has anyone else had a security certificate pop up come up when trying to do a search for anything? I keep getting multiple pop ups for this at once, and I have to shut down the page to get out of it. Just wondering what this actually is, and how to fix it. Thanks!

On general principles-- do you have AdBlock or another blocker enabled?

I shut everything off, thinking that might be the issue first. No change, so not sure what is up.

It could be one of the ads eBay,ca displays is causing the problem.

eBay.ca has a bad habit of not properly checking ads before displaying them.

Also, the ads that get pulled for display are based on the cookies you have active with your browser, so you may be getting targeted with a selection of bad ads. So throwing out old cookies might help.
